Codan transceivers provide you with an option to get connected anywhere, from a fixed (base) station, a mobile (in-vehicle) station, or the completely portable and self contained Manpack unit. All of your remote communication needs - from basic voice transmission to email, internet, chat, GPS, fax, data and telephone interconnection – can be accessed in any configuration of Codan’s transceivers.

HF Transceivers

Fixed (Base) Station

A fixed (base) station system enables one or more remote fixed transceivers to communicate with each other or a central base station. This NGT transceiver configuration features a superior desktop console, which integrates the handset, push-to-talk (PTT) control, boom microphone, loudspeaker and four extra hot keys into a single convenient control point.

HF Mobile Transceivers

Mobile (In-Vehicle)

A mobile system enables one or more remote mobile (vehicle mounted) transceivers to communicate with each other or a central base station. Codan NGTs are easy to install in vehicles. The RF unit can be mounted in many places such as under the seat or in the trunk. The small handset can be placed conveniently without cluttering the vehicle dashboard.

HF Manpacks

Portable (Manpack)

A portable (manpack) system enables one or more portable transceivers to communicate with each other or a central base station. Typically manpacks are required in areas only accessible by foot or where autonomy from power and vehicles is needed. Codan’s 2110 Manpack series transceivers are lightweight, rugged and fit inside a comfortable backpack. They have a 50-hour operating life between battery charges (at 10% voice duty cycle) and are available in military and non-military versions.
